Terms of Use

1. Who we are

MatchMedi (“MatchMedi,” “we,” “us”) is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY / OPERATOR NAME]. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. By accessing matchmedi.com (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Not medical advice; no doctor–patient relationship

The Site is patient education and source navigation only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose any condition, choose or rank treatments, or determine whether a clinical trial fits you. Nothing on the Site is a substitute for advice from your own qualified clinicians. Using the Site does not create a doctor–patient, provider–patient, or professional relationship of any kind. Always consult your oncology team before making any medical decision.

3. Emergencies

The Site is not for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. If you are in emotional crisis or thinking about self-harm, call or text 988 (U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or your local crisis service.

4. No warranty

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Medical knowledge changes; sourced content may be out of date, and the original sources control over our framing.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchMedi and its operators, contributors, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the Site. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.

6. Clinical trial information

Trial information is drawn from public registries and may be incomplete or out of date. We surface trial listings as leads for conversation, not as confirmation that any study is appropriate for you. We never determine eligibility. Confirm everything directly with the trial team.

7. User-contributed community content

Community and cohort content reflects individual lived experience, not medical advice, and is not vetted by clinicians. You are responsible for content you submit, you must not post dangerous medical instructions (including dosing or stop-treatment directions), and we may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion. Community features may be disabled at any time.

8. External links

The Site links to third-party sources (e.g., NCI, ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content.

9. Intellectual property

Curated clinical material remains the property of its original sources and is used with attribution under their terms. Our original framing and site materials are owned by MatchMedi.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING-LAW JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [DISPUTE-RESOLUTION / VENUE CLAUSE — confirm with counsel.]
